I was taking T-Rex for a test drive, after finally getting the IPOD and GPS installed. I went for a short drive, and after about 15 minutes I was satisfied with the car and decided to head home. That's when disaster struck!
Now, the road into my apartment complex is kinda tricky. It's hard to see cars coming out because of the trees, and it's a very narrow downhill road with a sharp right turn. I took a right onto this road, and
BANG, hit an old lady's car head on! She was on her way out of the apartment complex, and we did not see each other before it was too late. Thankfully the speeds were not very high, I had only about 20 km/h, but T-Rex still got some nasty damage to his front.
We was planning on starting our journey today, but that is clearly impossible just now. If we can get the car fixed within a week, this might just still work, and we can come pick up the car somehow. Otherwise, we probably need a new name for this blog, as we'll have to go with a rental or just use the train this summer. Time will tell!
